AFTER SOME MONTHS OF LIAISING, INVENTION AND PREPARATORY DRAMATICS, LAST NIGHT WAS MY DIRECTORIAL DEBUT AT THE TOP OF THE GHERKIN, REQUESTED BY UBIQUITOUS DUO ANGELLA NEWELL AND HAYLEY SUDBURY OF THE TASTING SESSIONS TO PROMOTE THEIR BRILLIANT AND RATHER GROWN-UP NEW VENTURE ‘SMITH’.
SCRIPTING SOME OF THE MOST DYNAMIC PERFORMERS IN CURRENT EXPERIENCIAL THEATRE - THE SENSATIONAL MOLLY CARROLL AS AN ENTOXICATED TALLULAH, DELICATE CINEMATOGRAPHER LUCY PAWLAK CAPTURING SPELLBOUND SPECTATORS, AND A HOST OF JUDICIOUS DOUBLE-AGENTS STOOGING INCOGNITO THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. I EVEN MANAGED TO ROPE IN THE INCREDIBLE HARRIET FLEURIOT AS MY STAGE MANAGER (A TRUE MULTIFACETER).
INNOVATORS FROM ACCROSS THE BOARD, AMONGST THEM LIQUOR-INVENTOR ALEX KAMMERLING, CULINARY EXPERIMENTALIST ARNAUD STEVENS AND 69 COLEBROOKE ROW, ENTERTAINED THE UNSUSPECTING IN BEGUILING DISGUISES WITH FOUR MULTI-SENSORY COURSES.
PAIRED WITH COCKTAILS CAROUSES, ALL WERE INTRODUCED BY YOURS TRULY IN MY EXTRA CAPACITY AS VINAGERY OCTOGENARIAN FORTUNE-TELLER ’URSULA UNDRESSED’.
WHO IS SMITH DOC COMING SOON.

Goofy highjinks day shooting the lovely Iain McKell’s ‘PLATINUM TRIBES’ for next month’s Flair. Beautifully lurid interiors in a very lovely lady’s peach + gold villa backdropped the blonde on blonde, and deepest Bromley ‘burbs gave great mock-tudor.
The main bathroom was a coral condo, with grecian pillars and carpeted tiers skirting an extramarital tub, which the lady said took an hour and forty-eight minutes to fill even with both goldie swan faucets at breakneck. It covered all romantical bases like the fall out from a team-building interior design weekend in Southend with Cokey Montana, Pat Butcher’s life-partner and the Pope.
Everyone was fun-funny and the house next door was called Tiarra (sic/ sick).

This Wednesday marked my first afternoon as a Visiting Lecturer. Thankfully my audience of fine art foundation + Btec students were quite witty (Me – “Any questions..?” / Them – “You what..?”).
I’d originally been asked to lecture solely on the progress of my satirical performance + filmmaking, arriving at my A.K.A; Patricia Butcher, but leading up to the lecture I decided it would be of far greater interest (to speak about as well as to listen to) and of longer lasting benefit, to expand into the scientifics and analysis of comedy.
Hence here I am going for the alimony during my section on Professor Richard Wiseman, an incredibly energetic orator himself, and somewhat of an inspiration since watching him from the lap of the devil at The School of Life last year.

On snow day we did a pop-up pop-down at the Maurice Einhardt Neu Gallery on Redchurch, before I Want To Fuck You By Derrick Santini got his. Organised by the lovely Alice Wadsworth (she tips her hat to a suffragette môde), we whiled the sub-zero hours in layers up + coffees down. Needless to say our woolens racked out, but a carpet-bag is never less than bottomless, so more knits + hits where they came from.
We may become a slot.. Perhaps like the Au Pair, after the wind has changed.
